Carrie and Dylan met through mutual friends and Dylan planned an amazing surprise and decided to pop the question during winter pictures taken for their family Christmas cards. The entire proposal was caught on camera! Carrie and Dylan chose Steamboat Springs, Colorado as the backdrop for their wedding. They were married on a beautiful and gorgeous fall day on top of a picturesque mountain in Steamboat Springs. Both, Carrie and Dylan, share the love for the outdoors and what better way to spend their wedding day, than outdoors on a mountain in Colorado! Carrie and Dylan had a reception back home in Iowa at Living History Farms to celebrate with family and friends. Carrie said the most challenging part of the entire process was planning everything. Carrie did all the event planning and coordinating herself and did a wonderful job which definitely shows in their pictures. Carrie’s advice for future brides is to stick to your gut, go with what’s in your heart and don’t let others sway your opinions! She said it’s your special day, do what you dreamt of!
